The Thursday Farmers Market has rebounded and is stronger than ever. You can find just about everything at this market; clothing, food, flowers, and fresh fruit. And that's just on the top floor. As you make your way to the lower levels, there are a variety of shops and the food court is on the lower level. When Macy's (the anchor store) closed it's doors, the future of this market was uncertain. But with the dedicated vendors that hung in there it has made a remarkable recovery. I am sure when the new anchor store (Target) opens it's doors it will bring many new vendors and stores along with many more people. This rebound is due to a change in management of the actual Farmers Market and to the fabulous farmers and vendors that stuck it out during the rough patch. If you find yourself in this area on Thursday's you have to check out, Kettle Corn and Stuff (not only can you get the best kettle corn around and in a variety of flavors, but they now serve soft drinks, cooked food items such as buffalo wings, popcorn shrimp, chicken fritters and they all come with fries.) Word of caution, they sell out almost every week so get there early. George's Greek Cafe is another one of my favorites here, the food is good and reasonable too. There is also a film screening area located on the property which you can participate in on Thursday's Free of Charge.
